 The conference will be held on October 6-8, 2020 in Kazan, one of  the largest centers of science, education and industry of Russia. Conference venue is Kazan Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Sciences, Lobachevskii str. 2/31

The aim of the conference is to provide a global platform for researchers and engineers coming from academia and industry to present their research results and activities in the field of fundamental and interdisciplinary research of chemical safety issues and protection of human health and environment from exposure to hazardous chemical factors.

The Conference will mainly focus on the following topics (not limited to):

  • Chemical hazard sources. Toxic chemicals, emergency and hazardous chemical substances. Hazardous chemical facilities. Technologies for elimination of chemical hazards.
  • Chemical hazard assessment and risk modeling. Chemical accident/incident prevention.
  • Methods and tools for indication and identification of hazardous chemicals and mixtures thereof in environmental objects. Monitoring soil, air, and water status.
  • Technologies, procedures and means for creating materials aimed at technical protection, prevention and remediation of chemical contamination consequences. Impact of hazardous chemicals on human health.
  • Alternative energy sources for reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
  • Atmospheric pollution and climate change.
  • Green technologies.
  • Chemical safety of agriculture and food industry.
  • Waste management. Utilization and biodegradation of hazardous wastes.
  • Safe handling of nanosized materials.

Conference working languages are Russian and English.

Abstracts are submitted in English (1 — 2 pages).

Conference participants can make oral presentations in Russian or in English.

A plenary report duration is 30 minutes, an oral presentation will last 20 minutes.  We encourage speakers to cover a practical feasibility of their research, the relevance of the research results and the willingness of customers for their implementation.

For demonstration of illustrative material, the authors of oral presentations can  use presentations in the Power Point program (MS Office) in English only.

Please note that the conference materials will be placed on the eLibrary.ru website and included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database.

ENTRY FEE includes: a reception party, a conference participant’s portfolio, rental of premises, coffee breaks and other organizational expenses. It amounts to 85 euro.
